The Story behind Dog Years
We’re two brothers from Christchurch who, like you, want the best for our four legged friends. We’re not ones to put on a dog & pony show, but we think we have a tail worth sharing.
Our story begins with our beloved (but slightly broken) boxer Billie. When Billie came into our lives, it was love at first sight. From rolling around play fighting with us as boys, to a cuddle after a hard day at school or work, Billie had a lot of love to give. Unfortunately, as she aged, she developed hip dysplasia and simple movement became a challenge. Jumping up, down and around was simply too laborious in her later years.
Fast forward a few years and we started to see similar signs in our dog, Mac. Heartbroken and frustrated, we wondered what we could have done for Billie, and what we could do to help Mac.
That’s when we started to look at what goes into our dogs’ diet.
For dogs that like rough and tumble, and are particularly hard on their joints, their food alone is often not enough to truly support their mobility needs. That’s where our supplements come in.
